About Us

Creative Cell is a privately held innovative biotechnology company that focuses on developing new cell lines for a wide variety of applications in biotechnology and medicine. Creative Cell designs, constructs and manufactures cell lines for research and drug testing. New cell lines are rapidly isolated by means of a proprietary selection system based on a mutant ABC transporter. Creative Cell's product portfolio also includes a list of readily available mammalian cell lines expressing foreign proteins.

In addition to our traditional cell engineering profile, our major new focus of development is preparation, differentiation, and gene modification of adult stem cells, with a current emphasis on mesenchymal stem cells and bone regeneration.

The company was established in 2006 for managing research projects and organizing collaborations. The Founder of the company, Katalin Nemet, PhD, is the Head of the Division of Experimental Gene Therapy at the National Blood Transfusion Service, Budapest, Hungary.
