Installation of bone implant processing lab completed
New equipment including a low-speed liquid-cooled diamond saw and a grinding-polishing machine have been set into operation and successfully tested. This instrumentation is suitable for the processing of hard materials such as bone or bone-metal implant specimens by the cutting and grinding method. Acquisition and installation of the equipment was supported by the grant KMOP-1.1.4-11/B-2011-0165 from the Hungarian Economic Development Centre (MAG Zrt.)

Creative Cell signs contract with the Achilles consortium
Creative Cell joins a French-Hungarian collaboration coordinated by Attilio di Pietro at CNRS, Lyon, and Gergely Szakács from the Membrane Research Group of the Hungarian Academy od Sciences. The project aims at triggering selective apoptosis of multidrug-resistant cancer cells that overexpress ABC transporters. The role of Creative Cell is to develop pairs of differentially labeled drug-sensitive and multidrug-resistant cell lines for fluorescent cytotoxicity assays.
