Tissue Engineering

Creative Cell is active in MSC-derived bone differentiation research, as well as the testing and development of novel scaffolds for bone tissue engineering.

Our Focus:

In addition to optimization of mechanical properties, bone scaffolds must be tested for their ability to promote the attachment and survival of bone forming cells. MSCs are highly sensitive to the chemical composition and the microarchitecture of their environment. In particular, surface topology and chemistry substantially influence the ability of scaffolds to induce bone formation. Creative Cell performs biological assays to determine the quality of 3D scaffolds as support for MSC-assisted bone regeneration, and offers its proprietary surface treatment method for the improvement of scaffold surfaces.
